How do I clean my scrunchie?
We offer an array of fabrics so it is difficult to suggest just one method for washing, however we do recommend spot treating and washing gently by hand. Use very little detergent and ensure it is rinsed very well before laying flat to dry.
How do I decide which size is right for me?
We offer scrunchies in two different sizes and it mostly comes down to your styling preference or how much hair you have. The strong elastic will provide a perfect hold. Our regular size is perfect for the day-to-day and offers the most versatility. Great for buns and top knots and any type of hair!
Our mini is great for anyone with shorter/finer hair as they are designed with less fabric to give a thinner appearance and tighter hold. Small but mighty, our minis may be a more subtle choice but they are excellent for half-up or space bun styles.
Where do we ship?
Right now we ship to Canada and the United States but we are looking to ship internationally very soon so stay tuned!
When can I expect my order?
UPDATE: Some of our customers have been experiencing shipping delays due to COVID-19. You may experience longer shipping times than usual due to increased volume and additional safety measures Canada Post has in place to keep everyone safe and healthy. We appreciate your understanding and patience!  
We do our best to ship orders within 3 business days from date of purchase. When your order is shipped you'll receive an email to confirm. During peak order times (like holidays and collection launch dates) please allow for a little extra processing time. PLEASE NOTE that "shipping times" are estimates only and are calculated from the date your order has been processed and released by our fulfillment center.
SHIPPING within CANADA
Orders shipping within Canada are handle by Canada Post. Following the receipt of your order fulfillment email, arrival times typically range between:
'Standard' non-tracked shipping within Canada: We find most people receive their order within 5 days. However, due to the current global situation, and circumstances out of our control, transit times can vary. Expect delays. If you have not received your order within 5 days of your confirmation please feel free to e-mail us at info@sovain.ca and we can look in to it for you.
NOTE: 'Standard' shipping options selected within Canada do not come with tracking in order to provide our Canadian customers a less expensive shipping option. 
'Tracked Parcel' shipping options: While tracked shipments do arrive much quicker than 'Standard' shipping options, carriers are no longer guaranteeing arrival times due to volume increases causing occasional delays. 
SHIPPING to the UNITED STATES
For orders shipping to the United States, we ship via USPS. Following the receipt of your order fulfillment email, arrival times typically range between four to eight (4-8) business days. Tracking information will be updated to your order following its release to USPS.  
What do I do if I entered an incorrect shipping address?
If you realize an error please contact us at info@sovain.ca right away so we can make the correction prior to shipment. If an order has already been shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address and is subsequently returned to us, we will credit your payment method for the goods at that time (less shipping and taxes). 
Please note we are not responsible for orders where an incorrect shipping address is given and we cannot redirect orders once they ship.
Refused Shipments
We do our best to ensure your hair accessories arrive in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that your order arrives in a damaged condition, please accept the delivery and contact us at info@sovain.ca so we can help you.
Order Cancellation or Changes
We process your order as quickly as possible to ensure it arrives to you in a timely manner. Due to this we may be unable to make changes or cancel your order once it is placed. In the event a cancellation or change request is necessary, please contact us immediately info@sovain.ca and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
 
Why would I choose a scrunchie over an elastic?
Did you know that uncovered hair elastics will lead to breakage? Without the protection of fabric around it, the elastic will cut off nutrients and keep your shampoo, conditioner and hair styling products from doing their job. With the amount of money and time we invest in our hair; it would be a shame to damage it.
Will my scrunchie look different in person?
We do our best to capture our scrunchies in different lighting scenarios to represent the colour and texture as accurately as we can. However due to screen resolution, contrast and brightness the colour can vary slightly from how it appears on your device.
Do you offer gift cards?
Not yet but we are working on this currently and will update you as soon as we have them available.

Can I return or exchange my order?
It is important to us that you are happy with your order. If your online purchase does not meet your expectations we accept returns on all full-price* orders within 14 days from the day your order is delivered. In order to receive a refund, the item(s) must be unwashed and unworn in the same condition in which it was shipped. We cannot be responsible for damage resulting from washing, wear, or misuse. Product condition is left to the discretion of So Vain. Once received and product is deemed free of any damage, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds can take up to five (5) business days to show up following the date they are issued. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks total for processing. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed.
For assistance please send an email to info@sovain.ca. Please note ‘return request’ in the subject line and provide your order number and reason for return in the e-mail.  We will review your request and provide you with a response.
Shipping charges and duties are ineligible for refund as they are the responsibility of the shipper; they are refundable only if there is a defect in the merchandise or is determined to be an error on our end. For returns we recommend you use your own trackable and insured shipping method.
*Sale items and orders placed during promotion events are final and ineligible for refund except in the case of defect.
